Greenmeadow needs YOU!

Green Meadow Animal Sanctuary is home to hundreds of rescued sheep, chickens, goats and horses and is one of the best-run santuaries we have ever had the pleasure to visit. Daphne and Cliff do a fabulous job, giving hope and love to animals - many of whom have been cruelly treated or suffer from disabilities. We volunteered there many years ago and were absolutely exhausted by the end of the day. It has to be said that we were in awe of the hard work and dedication that Daphne and Cliff demonstrate selflessly for the animals with no days off, no holidays and no personal monetary gain; every single penny of every single donation goes to the animals in their care. The back-stories of the animals they have rescued are in many instances, horrifying - from whole flocks rescued following cruelty prosecutions against the farmer, to individuals given a second chance at life after being rescued from slaughter, Greenmeadow is a true oasis for disabled, distressed, helpless animals.

Can you offer a home to a rescued animal? PAWING is often approached to help rehome all sorts of animals from dogs and cats - to horses and cockerels!
